Teen Cranes start preps for Namibia Clash in FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team, known as the Teen Cranes, kicked off preparations for their upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Namibia.

Coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda has summoned a provisional squad of 39 players to a residential camp at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The team begun training on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, ahead of the first-leg encounter in Namibia on January 16, 2025. The return leg is scheduled for January 19, 2025, at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.

The aggregate winner will progress to face Kenya in the second qualification phase of the World Cup qualifiers.
