Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho has named a squad of 26 players that will travel to Western Uganda for the Regional Tour.
The National team will face Western Region select side on Tuesday at Kyamate Playground in Ntungamo district.
The squad named has four goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and seven forwards.
It should be noted that the team is currently without KCCA FC left back Ibrahim Juma (still engaged with KCCA FC U20 team) and Vipers SC players.
This will be the second test match for Uganda Cranes (CHAN Team) since entering camp on Monday.
On Saturday, the team won 2-1 against Uganda Premier League outfit, UPDF FC courtesy of goals from Saidi Kyeyune and Andrew Ssemakula (own goal).
Uganda is preparing to face Tanzania in the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers where the winner on aggregate will progress to the final tournament slated for January in Algeria.
The first leg will take place on 27th August at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium while the return leg will be played on 3rd September at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
