Ugandan football fans heading to Morocco for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 have reason to celebrate. The Local Organising Committee (LOC) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced that electronic visas (e-Visas) for fans travelling to the tournament will be free of charge and available through the YALLA app.
The announcement, made on Thursday, comes as thousands of supporters across the continent prepare to attend Africa’s biggest football festival, which will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 in Morocco.
Fans from Uganda and other nations can now apply for both their Fan ID and free e-Visa in one seamless process via the YALLA app — a move designed to simplify travel, enhance security, and make stadium access smoother for all visitors.
“This initiative ensures every football lover can experience AFCON 2025 with ease and confidence. It’s a huge boost for Ugandan fans planning their journey to Morocco,” said a CAF communications official.
