The 2025 edition of the USSSA Ball Games II will take place from July 10th to 19th at St. Peter’s College Tororo, with Futsal making its debut as the latest addition to the competition’s growing list of disciplines.
The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA), through the office of the CEO, has officially released the road map for the prestigious school sports championship, which brings together top-performing student-athletes from across the country.
Following the successful inclusion of mind games and beach soccer in the 2023 and 2024 editions, Futsal joins the menu in 2025, marking another milestone in the tournament’s efforts to diversify and promote various sporting disciplines among students.
According to the USSSA roadmap, preparations for the national games will begin with online registration, which opens on May 21st and will run until June 25th, 2025. The official launch and tournament draws are scheduled for July 8th, just two days before the athletes report for the start of the games.
St. Peter’s College Tororo is expected to host thousands of young athletes and sports fans, as excitement builds for what is widely regarded as the biggest secondary school sports event in Uganda.
