USSSA Elite Games: Bukedea Comprehensive School dominate in volleyball
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The third and final day of the Elites Games 5th Edition saw Bukedea Comprehensive School teams emerge as the overall winners of the Volleyball games. This remarkable achievement came after intense matches against Ngora High School and Standard High School Zana.

In the girls’ match, Bukedea displayed exceptional skill and determination against Ngora High School, securing a well-deserved victory with a score of 3:1. This outstanding performance posed a significant challenge for Ngora High School, who had previously proven themselves as unbeatable. The unexpected turn of events left Ngora High School with the silver medals, while Katikamu S.D.A claimed the bronze.

On the other hand, Standard High School Zana claimed the silver medals in the boys’ category, with Jinja College taking home the bronze. It is important to note that the competition included other formidable teams such as Mariam High School Kisaasi, Immaculate Heart Girls School, and Jinja Senior Secondary School. Although these teams did not secure top rankings, their participation added excitement to the tournament. Mariam High School finished in fourth place, Jinja SSS came in fifth, and Immaculate Heart Girls School secured the sixth position.

In the boys’ category, Jinja SSS finished in fourth place. We anticipate that these teams will continue to engage in spirited and competitive matches in the future.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Bukedea Comprehensive School for their remarkable achievement. They have truly reached a significant milestone in their sporting journey.

Other winners:
Handball, boys – Kakungulu Memorial School
Handball, girls – Gombe SS
Football, boys – Jinja Progressive Academy
Football, girls – Kawempe Muslim
Netball (girls) – Buddo SS
