Uganda Premier League side Vipers Sports Club have announced that their head coach Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has left his role with immediate effect.
“The club would like to thank Robertinho for his tireless efforts as the head coach during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.”
“The Club shall in the shortest time possible come out with a statement on the technical bench leadership following the coach’s departure,” the club statement read.
Robertinho joined the Venoms in August 2021 to replace Fred Kajoba, he leaves the team ahead of his three-year contract that expires in 2024. Reasons for his departure remain under the carpet.
In his short stint at the Kitende based outfit, Robertinho has won the Uganda Premier League and Stanbic Uganda Cup titles. The team is also playing at continental level.
