Men’s National Hockey League (NHL) title holders Wanachi hope to stretch their perfect run when they play Kampala HC this weekend at the National Hockey Stadium, Lugogo in a match they will seek to maintain their title credentials.
Wananchi star Jerome Owori is confident that the Sunday clash will witness them bag more points to remain the side to beat in the league.
“We are in great shape and we are going for a win against Kampala. We want to take control of the game in the first half of the match,’ Owori revealed.
Wanachi beat Rockets 3-1 last time out while Kampala was stunned by Simba 0-2. Collin Batusa, Thomas Opio and Innocent Mbabali were on target for Wanachi last time out and are expected to spur the team this weekend too. Earlier on, debutants Makerere who have won just a game will play Simba that seek to extend their winning streak.
