Uganda boys’ national cricket team, Baby Cricket Cranes picked their second win against Sai Cricket Academy on Tuesday after beating them by 124 runs (178 all out against 54 all out) in their Tour to India encounter at Sanjay Farm.
The Tuesday win comes barely a week after Baby Cricket Cranes beat Sai Cricket Academy by 8 wickets (92/2 against 90 all out) in their second outing of their Tour to India.
On Tuesday, Fahad Mutagana led Uganda with a near half century after posting 49 runs off 63 balls. His tally comprised of 7 fours and 1 six.
Brian Asaba followed with 34 runs off 72 runs. His tally comprised of 4 fours.
Uganda’s Sowobi Yunusu picked five wickets, a same achievement managed by Sai Cricket Academy’s Ansh Patel.
In their innings, Sai Cricket Academy who won the toss and elected to field later struggled to chase Uganda’s score of 178 runs as they managed just 54 runs.
In a losing effort, Ajeet managed a team high 21 runs off 44 balls, comprising of 2 fours. Ansh Patel was the other Sai player to post double figures after managing 10 runs from 18 balls.
The win against Sai means that the Ugandan boys have won 4 out of the 6 tour games that were played in the 50-over format. To cap the campaign, the team will play a T-20 game on Wednesday, 24th May before departing the next day.
