On Friday, March 15th, I&M Bank Uganda played host to an exclusive round of golf, welcoming a handpicked group of industry leaders to join their Regional CEO, Mr. Kihara Maina, for a day of networking and friendly competition.
Dubbed ‘Tee-time with the I&M Bank CEO,’ this esteemed gathering unfolded at the picturesque Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa. Among the notable attendees were Robin Bairstow, the CEO of I&M Bank Uganda, Amos Nzeyi, Chairman of Crown Beverages Ltd, Edward Kabuchu, Chairman of MSL Logistics LTD, Dr. Kato Sebale, Chairman of Case Hospital, Daniel Kangu, Managing Director of Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa, Elly Kibuuka Mukasa, Domestic GM of DHL Uganda and Captain of the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series, Dr. Ben Mbonye, Chairman of Nakasero Hospital, and Andrew Kibaya, a senior partner at Shonubi Musoke & Co. Advocates, who also serves as the Vice Captain of the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series.
Also in attendance were Timothy Musiime, CFO of I&M Bank, Gibson Nangono, CBO of I&M Bank, and Annette Nakiyaga, the bank’s head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.
After navigating the challenging 18-hole course, participants gathered for an intimate dinner by the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria, soaking in the serene ambiance.
As the day drew to a close, the spotlight shifted to the winners, who were honored with special prizes for their exceptional performance on the green. Elly Kibuuka Mukasa emerged as the overall champion, demonstrating outstanding skill and determination.
CEO Bairstow reflected on the event’s significance, emphasizing the importance of fostering meaningful connections beyond the office walls, and facilitating valuable interactions between key partners and the Regional CEO.
