The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Disciplinary Panel has sanctioned Onduparaka FC and Soroti Thunders FC with a suspended deduction of three points and three goals for failing to honor their Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 matches.
Onduparaka FC did not show up for their scheduled fixture against Bushenyi Veterans FC on January 16, 2025, while Soroti Thunders FC failed to appear for their match against Black Power FC in the same competition.
According to FUFA’s ruling, if either club misses another Uganda Cup match, the suspended penalty will be enforced in their respective league campaigns.
Additionally, both teams have been issued a stern warning against future violations, with FUFA cautioning that any further breaches of competition rules could result in harsher disciplinary measures.
