The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) revealed the official logo for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 in a celebratory event in Rabat, Morocco, on January 25, 2025.
Designed to symbolize the unity and heritage of the African continent, the new logo is a bold representation of African football. It merges tradition and modernity, drawing inspiration from Moroccan “zellij,” a centuries-old mosaic art form.
The TotalEnergies AFCON finals will run from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco, promising to continue Africa’s rich footballing tradition. The newly unveiled logo emphasizes Africa’s cultural legacy and its dynamic future through football.
With intricate patterns and vibrant colors, including gold (achievement), green (unity), red (resilience), and blue (boundless potential), the logo reflects the spirit of the game, the players’ strength, and the fans’ passion. The design incorporates elements of both football and art, symbolizing precision, creativity, and teamwork—qualities central to both African craftsmanship and the sport itself.
CAF described the tournament as “a living gallery of African football,” where every match moment contributes to a broader masterpiece of skill, culture, and artistry.
The final draw for the tournament is scheduled for January 27, 2025, as excitement builds for Africa’s most anticipated football event.
