The final match of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League’s match day five will take place tonight at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, where KCCA FC will face UPDF FC at 7 pm.
KCCA, also known as the Kasasiro Boys, come into the game unbeaten with 10 points, and a win would propel them to the top of the table. They are currently sitting in second place, just two points behind league leaders NEC FC.
The home side will look to extend their impressive form, having only lost one of their previous 14 encounters with UPDF, and winning eight of their last 10 home league matches.
UPDF FC, on the other hand, have a challenging task ahead of them. The army side is currently in eighth place with seven points and has struggled on the road, losing six of their last 10 away matches.
A win at Lugogo, however, would see them level on points with KCCA, a result they would welcome after losing their previous encounter at this venue against NEC.
As both sides gear up for tonight’s crucial fixture, all eyes will be on KCCA, who are eager to reclaim the top spot in the league standings. A rare away win for UPDF would shake things up, but the Kasasiro Boys remain the favorites.
