KCCA FC beat Proline 4-1 on Wednesday at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo to win their fourth straight FUFA Super Cup title.
Erisa Sekisambu capitalized on a blunder on Proline goalkeeper Hassan Matovu to the reigning league champions lead after as early as 7thminute before Allan Okello, with his trademark dribble from the right cut inside to curl home he second.
In the 71st minute Proline failed to hold onto possession and Sekisambu again found himself with Matovu to beat as he completed his brace.
It was Proline’s first game at home under new head coach Matia Lule, who guided them to the next round of the 2019/2020 Total CAF Confederation Cup on 3-0 aggregate after their barren draw with Master Security in Lilongwe.

Lule remains winless in two since replacing Shafiq Bisaso, won the side promotion to the premier league, FUFA Big league and Stanbic Uganda Cup. KCCA, who were coming off a 2-0 loss to Vipers SC in the Pilsner Super 8 final at the Betway Mutesa II Stadium three days ago, conceded in the 80th minute through Peter Magambo own goal.
A minute later, defender Ramadan Musa scored KCCA FC’s fourth goal and his second for the club. The FUFA Super Cup was a precursor to the new 2019/2020 StarTimes Uganda Premier season that starts this Thursday with new comers Kyetume hosting record 16-time winners SC Villa at Namboole stadium.
KCCA will host Wakiso Giants on Saturday at Lugogo while Proline will visit Mbarara City at Luzira on the same day.
