Tonny Kyamera had a great day in Express goal

After the club’s heaviest defeat in the top flight on Saturday at the hands of Express FC at the Wakisha resource center, Kisala was asked by club CEO to announce his resignation in the post match press conference but the former Uganda Cranes assistant coach turned down the request.

The Purple Sharks endured their 6th season defeat with a 3-0 home defeat courtey of Disan Galiwango, Frank Kalanda and Frank Ssenyondo in the 13th, 26th and 66th minutes respectively.

Disan scored his third of the season when he finished off an attack he started. He headed home a rebound from his own shot from the left that Yasin Mugabi failed to take charge of.

Frank Sssenyondo gloriously ran from the right to lay a low cross that Frank Kalanda finished off for his 5th of the season. The six-time champions took a 2-goal cushion into the break and looked the better side in the opening half.

Kalanda then turned provider when he jumped and won possesion against Swaibu Mudde for Ssenyondo to brilliantly score his 4th of the season.

The speedy winger finished off a rebound from Mugabi who had a terrible outing whilst Tonny Kyamera enjoying one of his best performances in the season between the Red Eagles posts.

It was the biggest defeat for the Purple Sharks this season but also Express FC 3rd win on the road.
