The Lady Rugby Cranes (15s) management together with other women’s rugby officials hosted Toyota Uganda bosses on Wednesday at the Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) Secretariat in Lugogo.
The comes after Toyota Uganda General Manager- Pieter Overseek fulfillment of $5000 pledge to the Lady Cranes team ahead of the Rugby Africa Women’s championship that was held in South Africa last month. The Wednesday meeting was to thank Toyota for the timely support towards preparations for the Africa Women’s Cup, according to Uganda rugby union Executive member Regina Lunyolo.
Meanwhile, the late Patrick Aredo Mileke body was buried to rest on Wednesday in Mikiya town, Tororo. The late, who was known as Papa in the rugby circles is the father to Warriors players; Erasmus Aredo, Gabriel Aredo and Betway Kobs’ skipper Joseph Aredo.
