South African powerhouse Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Al Ahly in the quarter-finals of the 2021 CAF Champions League.
The tie was confirmed on Friday as the draws for Africa’s football showpiece last 8 were held in Cairo, Egypt.
The two sides also met at this stage last season before Al Ahly triumphed on their way to winning the title.
The other South African side, Kaizer Chiefs who in their maiden group stage campaign will take on Simba SC from Tanzania.
Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca will face MC Alger of Algeria while CR Belouizdad clash with ES Tunis in the other tie.

The first-leg ties will take place between 14-15 May which will be hosted by the group runners-up before the return leg matches scheduled for 21-22 May.
Al Ahly are the record and defending champions of the competition.
