Lady Doves FC Head coach Oliva Mbekeka believes that her side will make use of home advantage at the quarter finals of this year’s FUFA Women Cup.Lady Doves were drawn against former champions Olila High School at the last eight draws held on Wednesday at FUFA House, Mengo. The Masindi-based side will be hosting at Katushabe play-ground in Masindi on May 1.“We are ready; the good thing we shall be at home and we shall have the fans’ support. I trust my players but I can’t underrate any team,” noted Mbekeka, who is also the Crested Cranes assistant coach.Olila ejected Kawempe Muslim at the previous stage while Lady Doves saw off Kampala Queens in a controversial affair. In other fixtures, Soroti-based Echoes High School hosts Tooro Queens at the Soroti play ground while Uganda Martyrs High School will entertain She Corporates at Lubaga as Makerere University faces Kawempe Junior at Makerere University. No club has ever managed to successfully defend the championship. Olila High School (2017) and Uganda Christian University (2018) are the previous winners. The draws were conducted by two delegates representing the women at the FUFA General Assembly; Margret Kubingi and Owek. Florence Bagunywa Nkalubo.
