Ndejje Senior Secondary School has started the preparations for the Fresh Dairy Secondary School Games 2024.
The 2024 Ball Games I are scheduled to take place from 26th April to May 5th 2024 at Ndejje SS in Luweero District.
Ndejje SSS applied and won the bid to host the games after a successful inspection was carried out at various schools in November 2023.
Ndejje SSS will co-host the games with their neighbours Ndejje University.
The Deputy Headteacher Mrs.Eyatoru Eunice Yung who spoke on behalf of the Headteacher Canon. Dr. Charles Kahingiriza who was grateful to USSSA and the Ministry of Education and Sports for entrusting Ndejje SS with hosting these games and promised that they will do their best to deliver a good tournament.
“We thank you for entrusting Ndejje SS with the responsibility to organize these games. We are very humbled and hope to give our best during these games come April 26th 2024.” Mrs. Eyatoru Eunice Yung, Deputy Headteacher (Administration).
In addition to the facilities and venues at Ndejje SS and Ndejje University there are several grounds that will be used namely Bombo Army SS, Bombo UMEA,St. Janan SS,St. Johns Nandere, Standard High Zana (Ndejje Campus), Nalinya Lwantale Girls’ School, St. Mary’s Namaliga among others within the community.
“We are still doing several preparations to host you in the most favorable manner. Please come prepared knowing that everything you will need in terms of accommodation, healthcare and everything that has been asked of us is all set for you.” Busulwa Derrick, Games teacher Ndejje SSS said.
Online registration for schools and participants before the zonal and district qualifiers is currently taking place.
