Next Pro Sports has announced the signing of Ivan Sserubiri, a footballer currently playing for the Startimes Uganda Premier League outfit URA FC.

Next Pro, a sports management agency will be representing the player in all income-generating activities rising from his occupation as a professional footballer.

Next Pro Sports Founder & CEO Sultan Suliz says that Sserubiri is a good addition to the agency for he’s one of the best midfielders in the top tier division.

“Sserubiri is among the best players in his position at the moment in the country and his progress says it all. We want to be part of that!” Suliz said.

For Sserubiri, the midfielder who joined URA FC in July 2019 on a 3-year contract says that he hopes the agency can help push his career to new heights.

“I’m glad to be associated with NextPro Sports. I’m looking forward to doing great things with this team and hopefully, they can help me push my career a step further,” Sserubiri said.

In his two seasons at URA FC, Sserubiri has made 35 appearances with 17 starts. The club finished as league runners-up in the 2020/21 season. In the same season, he was shortlisted in the Football 256 team of the season.

Sserubiri has previously captained the Gomba Lions in the 2017 Masaza Cup tournament which the team won and he received the MVP award in that tournament. He has also received two provisional national team call-ups.

Sserubiri is the latest addition to Next Pro Sports following the unveiling of Gerald Kirya (a football player currently with FUFA BIG League side Proline FC) about a week ago.
