Bishop Stuart University and Nkumba played to a 1-1 draw yesterday as the Pepsi University football league continued. The Visiting Nkumba took lead in 58th minute through Kivumbi Hassan but Aine Baron equalized from the spot in the 72nd minute for Bishop Stuart after a handball in the box. Nkumba remains second while Bishop Stuart languishes at the bottom.
On Saturday, Uganda Martyrs beat Islamic University In Uganda 3-0 at Nkozi with Ssempala Ronald scoring a brace in the 21st and 72nd minutes respectively while Nakibinge John scored in the 40th minute. Result saw Uganda Martyrs return to the top of Group B with 7pts from 3 games while St. Lawrence are 2nd with 5pts.
