In girls U-14 played at round robin format, Sunrise A and Samaritan emerged winners and second respectively to set a repeat of last year’s final.

In the boys U-12 semi-finals, Sunrise A saw off Sunrise B 2-0 (25-20, 25-16) while in the boys U-12 finals, Sunrise A will face a winner between St James and Samaritan whose semi-final encounter will be played on the day of the finals after getting dark on Sunday.

In the girls U-12 category, Sunrise defeated Rema Primary School 2-1 (25-22, 19-25, 25-23). In the finals, Sunrise will face Samaritan who edged Shining Stars 2-0 (25-22, 25-20) in the other semi-final.

The NSSF KAVC main championship is set for August 2-4 August in Lugogo and KAVC President Milly Kure believes that junior involvement in the championship is one way to guarantee the sport’s continuity.
