UPL side Onduparaka FC have parted ways with their head Coach Vialli Bainomugisha.

Vialli had left the club in February this year after going for seven months without pay with his assistant Abu Wamboya taking over as interim coach.

In a club statement released on Tuesday, March 30, Vialli has been relieved of his duties by the Caterpillars.

“Onduparaka FC announces the termination of the Contract of Mr. Bainomugisha Vialli as Head Coach with immediate effect. Read the statement.

“The Management of the club has arrived at this decision after careful consideration and for the best interest of both parties.

“We would like to thank Coach Vialli for the tremendous contribution made towards the growth and development of Onduparaka FC.

“We wish coach Vialli the very best in his future endeavours.”

It is believed that Joseph Mutyba is expected to take over at the Arua based side and his announcement will be made in the coming days.

Onduparaka currently in eighth spot on the UPL table with 21 points after 15 games.

They will face Busoga United away from home in their opening game of the second round.
