URA 1-0 Express

Tooro United 1-0 BUL

Ronald Kigongo capitalised on Express skipper Isaac Mutanga’s poor clearance to score the only goal in the 77th minute to cap his Pilsner Man of the match performance as URA defeated Express 1-0 on Tuesday at the Namboole stadium.

This was the first win for the Tax Collectors at Express in four seasons. URA last registered a win against the Red Eagles in May 2015.

The result saw Express slip two places to 11th with 29 points after 24 games which has left the fans dissatisfied with head coach George Ssemwogerere despite him staying buoyant.

URA meanwhile moved a place to third on 42 points –interchanging position with Mbarara City. At Betway Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku, Tooro United registered a winning start to the venue after shifting from Buhinga stadium, Fort Portal to pave way for facility construction.

The Wasswa Bbosa side beat ten-man BUL FC 1-0 courtesy of Allan Kayiwa’s 8th minute goal and his 7th of the campaign. BUL finished the game 10 men after Patrick Sembuya’s 90th minute red card.

Tooro United moved a place to 6th with 36 points whilst BUL remained 5th –bettering Tooro United by just a goal.
