*Friday Results
Police FC 0-0 Wakiso Giants FC
BUL FC 2-2 SC Villa
Mbarara City FC 1-1 URA FC

There were no voctories or losses registered during Friday matches of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) as all the three matches ended in stalemates.

The 2020/21 SUPL season returned on Thursday with KCCA securing a 1-2 win on the road against Bright Stars but the second outing of match day one saw all clubs share spoils.
At the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, Police FC and Wakiso Giants fired blanks as the two sides settled for a goalless draw.

At Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe in Jinja, hosts BUL FC and record league winners SC Villa settled for a 2-2 draw in a hotly contested affair.

Villa earned an early lead via Emmanuel Wasswa who opened his Joggos goal account in the fourth minute of play.

However, BUL’s Richard Wandyaka levelled the matters with a few minutes to the first interval and it was level at break time.

Former KCCA forward Musa Esenu gave the hosts a lead in the 54th minute.
In the 68th minute, Villa’s Benson Muhindo was red carded but Nicolas Kabonge scored in 78th minute to secure a point of the road for his side.

At Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara, Mbarara City FC settled for a 1-1 draw against URA FC.
The visitors drilled first blood thanks to Steven Mukyala’s strike in the 30th minute.

Mbarara left it late when Jude Ssemugabi leveled matters in the 81St minute.
SUPL action returns this Saturday with two games on card.

SUPL Saturday Fixtures:
4PM – Kyetume vs Kitara
4PM – UPDF vs Busoga
