SUPL: KCCA Thrash Onduparaka at Lugogo

KCCA FC scored eight goals against Onduparaka FC during their second match of the 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) season on Tuesday at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Brian Aheebwa scored a double brace, Samuel Ssenyonjo bagged a hat trick while Herbert Achai struck from 35 yards to condemn the visitors to an 8-0 mauling behind closed doors.

Aheebwa slotted his first in the 17th minute after great interplay with Ssenyonjo.

Achai later doubled his side’s lead in the 22nd minute after chipping in a curly ball past Onduparaka’s custodian Austin Opoka.

In the 30th minute, Ssenyonjo joined the party after Aheebwa’s ball bounced back into play after it was punched off by Onduparaka goal keeper.

Ssenyonjo later linked up with Aheebwa for his second goal before the latter scored from the spot at stroke of half time to give his side a 5-0 lead at the break.

In the second half, Ssenyonjo capitalized on Kezironi Kizito’s ball to cap his hat trick to give the hosts a 6-0 lead.

Later in the game, Aheebwa who claimed man of the match honors grabbed a double to claim both a hat trick and double brace as KCCA pummeled Onduparaka 8-0.

KCCA FC who beat Bright Stars 2-1 last time out are now top of the table with six points from two games games and a whooping nine goals

KCCA FC next match will be at home on Friday against Mbarara City FC while Onduparaka will visit MYDA FC.
