Uganda Cup Round of 16 Second Legs
Tuesday, 04-05-2021
-URA FC 0-0 Express FC
-SC Villa 0-0 Onduparaka FC
-Tooro United 2-2 Wakiso Giants FC

The Uganda Cup round of 16 second legs continued on Tuesday with three fixtures.

At Ndejje, Express FC ensured safe passage to the next round thanks to a 0-0 draw away to URA FC.

The result in Bombo means Express won the tie 2-1 having won the first leg by the same score line on Saturday.

It was not all smooth sailing for the Red Eagles as they had to withstand late pressure from the hosts so as to see out the result.

Ivan Sserubiri shot wide while Brian Nkuubi twice missed from decent positions.

The Red Eagles defended tirelessly as they successfully protected their first leg advantage.

At Bombo, SC Villa progressed 1-0 on aggregate following a 0-0 draw in the second leg.

Nothing could separate the two sides who created so little in the final third, on the day.

The best chance of the game fell to Onduparaka’s Mukiibi but his effort bothered only the side netting after he was put one-on-one with Meddi Kibirige in the Villa goal.

At Buhinga, Vianne Ssekajugo scored late to ensure Wakiso Giants drew 2-2 with Tooro United on the day and progress 7-3 on aggregate.

Forward Eric Akol scored first for the host at the start of second half before Joshua Lubwama levelled matters just after the hour mark.

Marvin Oshaba restored Tooro United’s lead from the penalty spot with just five minutes to play.

Ssekajugo then ensured the game ended in a draw as he netted inside two minutes of three that were added on at the end of the 90.

Wakiso Giants now advance to the Uganda Cup quarter finals 7-3 on aggregate having won the first leg 5-1.
