Uganda Cup semi-final lineup confirmed after thrilling quarter-finals

The race for the Uganda Cup 2025 title intensified on Sunday, 23 November 2025, as the quarter finals wrapped up with four teams securing their spots in the last four of the national tournament.

Stanbic Black Pirates, KCB KOBs, Platinum Credit Heathens RFC and Toyota Buffaloes will headline the semi-final stage after an action-packed weekend of rugby across the country.

The Stanbic Black Pirates delivered one of the most dominant performances of the round, overpowering Impis RFC 68–20. KCB KOBs also booked their place in the semis with a strong 36–17 victory over the Rhinos.

At Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, Platinum Credit Heathens RFC battled past Lifeguard Rams with a 44–29 win in a high-scoring encounter. Meanwhile in Jinja, Toyota Buffaloes edged past Hippos RFC 20–11, sealing the final semi-final slot.

The semi-final clashes are scheduled for 29 November 2025, featuring two blockbuster matchups:

• Stanbic Black Pirates vs. KCB KOBs
• Platinum Credit Heathens RFC vs. Toyota Buffaloes

The Uganda Rugby Union noted that official match venues will be announced via its social media channels.
