Djibouti vs Tanzania, 1:30pm

Uganda vs Kenya, 4pm

Uganda U17 Girls side is seeking maximum points against Kenya in the last fixture of the tournament this Tuesday at the FUFA technical center, Njeru to seal the title.

The Ayub Khalifah side played to a 1-1 draw against Tanzania on Sunday in the third and last game of the day. Tanzania took the lead through reliable striker Aisha Khamis Masaka, who took advantage of a laxity between Kevin Nakacwa and Stella Musibika, to slot in through Daphine Nyayenga legs on 18 minutes.

Uganda had a penalty appeal denied after a reversed decision by the center referee but it took a few minutes they Uganda equalized still from the spot.

Thabea Aidano Munga handled the ball in the box as she tried to clear a corner. FUFA-Airtel Awards female player of the year runner up Fauzia Najjemba converted the resultant penalty as the two teams went into the break square.

There was no goal added in the second stanza and the result meant that Uganda conceded their first goal at the tournament after four games of the six team round robin tournament.

Uganda leads the table with 10 points, 2 above second placed Tanzania and three above third placed Kenya. The top three countries have 25, 7 and 13 goal difference respectively. Burundi, Eritrea and Djibouti are 4th, 5th and 6th respectively. A win will seal the title for or draw and Tanzania does not win by an 18-goal margin.
