UPL adjusts kick-off times for all remaining fixtures

*UPL adjusts kick-off times for all remaining fixtures*

The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has adjusted the kick-off time for all the remaining fixtures.

The move was communicated through a press statement which indicated that the it was decided to due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.

“Considering the government partial lockdown due to the prevailing covid-19 situation in the country, the UPL Secretariat has adjusted the kick-off time for all the remaining SUPL fixtures to 3:00pm effective Friday 18th June 2021.” Read the statement.

The communication comes after three of the eight match-day 27 games were played between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

The other five remaining games of the match-day along with the last three match-days have all been affected.

Express still lead the standings with 58 points, one ahead of second-placed URA FC while Vipers who occupy third are a point further away.

MYDA FC and Kitara FC have both already been relegated to the Big League. Kyetume who lost 3-1 at home to Mbarara City FC sit third from bottom, three points behind 13th placed Busoga United FC.
