In the day’s first fixture, URA and Mbarara City battled to a 1-1 draw.
Mbarara took the lead in the 59th minute through Seiri Arigumaho, but their advantage was short-lived as URA’s Moses Aliro equalized just three minutes later.

Mbarara City remains second from the bottom with two points, having drawn two and lost one of their opening three games.
The second match of the day saw Express and Maroons fail to break the deadlock in a goalless draw under the floodlights.
Express, with one win, one draw, and one loss, sits in 11th place on four points.
Maroons, still seeking their first victory of the season, are just outside the relegation zone with two points from three matches.
Despite the lack of goals in these two matches, the competition remains tight with NEC FC leading the table on nine points, followed by KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants FC, each on seven points.
