The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) is set to officially launch the USSSA Weekend Beach Soccer League for both boys and girls on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
The inaugural event will take place at Bamboo Beach Soccer Garden, Kasanje, and is expected to bring together participating schools for a day of exciting competition and talent development. Activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until evening.
The launch is in line with the introduction of the USSSA Weekend League, an initiative aimed at providing student-athletes with more opportunities for regular competition and skills development.
USSSA has confirmed that the official list of participating schools will be released on June 4, 2026, ahead of the league’s kickoff.
The new beach soccer league is expected to play a key role in promoting the growth of the sport among secondary schools while providing a platform for young players to showcase their talent.
