Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo stole the spotlight at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, defending his senior men’s title in 28:09. Kiplimo became only the fourth man to secure back-to-back victories in the senior men’s category, joining legends like Kenenisa Bekele and Paul Tergat. His win marked Uganda’s third consecutive triumph, cementing the country’s growing legacy in cross-country running.
