CAF Confederations Cup

Preliminary Round, return leg

Saturday, 3:30pm

Masters Security vs Proline

Proline FC carry a three-goal advantage into the second leg of their CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary Round against Masters Security this Saturday at the Bingu national stadium, Lilongwe.

On his continental debut, striker Ivan Bogere grabbed a hat trick in Kampala last weekend as the Reigning Uganda Cup champions also made a triumphant debut at the continent.

The return leg this Saturday serves as Matia Lule’s first match in charge since replacing Shafiq Bisaso as the Proline head coach after the latter stepped down to pursue further coaching course in Europe.

Lule, formerly the Uganda Cranes assistant coach, called for Unity and focus as he officially commenced work.

He cautioned his charges against complacency –saying that the tie is yet done despite carrying a 3-0 advantage from the first leg.

“In football everything is possible. We need to be cautious and not getting taken away by the first leg result. They have the home advantage and we should not relax. We have no pressure and we are not going to alter our style of play for results,” noted Lule.

Proline arrived in Malawi on Thursday in a contingent of 25 having 18 players.
