Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will officially launch the fifth edition of the Airtel – FUFA Awards this Wednesday at Serena Conference Centre, Kampala.
“We are excited that the fifth edition of the Airtel – FUFA Awards shall be launched officially on Wednesday, 16th October 2019 at Serena Conference Centre in Kampala (Achwa hall) starting at 9 am. There are new categories that have been added to spice up the already existing ones. All the other details will be known at the launch. All the media houses are hereby invited,” said Ahmed Hussein, the FUFA Communications Director.
This year’s awards theme is ‘Celebrating Uganda’s Finest Footballers’ and the accolades will come with brand new cars and prize money for both female and male winner.
Moses Waiswa and Ruth Aturo won the overall Male and Female accolades last year respectively. Uganda Cranes main sponsors Airtel-Uganda will for the fifth straight year lead the list of partners of the glamorous awards.
