Women’s Criczone has picked Victoria Pearls (Uganda women’s cricket team) player Consy Aweko as Captain for their Associate Team of the Year 2022.
Aweko is joined by two other Ugandans in the 12-player team, that is; Janet Mbabazi and Sarah Akiteng.
UAE dominates the team with four players selected including Theertha Satish who has been picked to take the gloves. The other three are; Eshe Oza, Vaishnave Mahesh and Kevisha Egodage (12th).
Thailand’s Natthakan Chantham has been picked to open and is the only Thai on the team.
Tanzania’s Fatuma Kibasu is also on the team. The other three are; Tanya Ruma (Papua New Guinea), Mariko Hill (Hong Kong) and Iris Zwilling (Netherlands).
