MYDA FC Vs Kitara FC- King George IV Stadium, Tororo

Nyamityobora FC Vs Kyetume FC- Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara

Calvary FC Vs Luweero United- Greenlight Stadium,Arua

Proline FC Vs Blacks Power, Omondi Stadium, Lugogo

Ndejje University Vs Kataka FC- Arena of Visions, Ndejje.

All games kickoff at 4PM

With the 2021/22 StarTimes FUFA Big League season almost getting to the climax, the struggle for promotion to the top division is tough as it gets with four teams in contention. It should be noted that only the top three get to qualify at the end of the campaign.

On the extreme end, two teams that is Nyamityobora FC and MYDA FC have already known their fate (got relegated) but the final relegation slot has the monster hovering with five teams yet to confirm their status.

Five games are on card this Sunday at various stadiums across the country and each of them has implication on who gets promoted or relegated.

Proline FC vs Blacks Power FC

Table leaders Blacks Power FC make the trip to MTN Stadium Omondi to face relegation threatened Proline FC in buoyant mood after earning three points for Nyamityobora’s failure to honor a game in Lira last week.

The points took them top and have now garnered 34 , two ahead of Maroons FC and Kataka FC who are second and third respectively but the former have played a game less than the Prison Warders.

Victory at Proline will all but get Blacks Power promoted to StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Proline on the other hand find themselves in a must win situation since they are just above the drop zone because a better difference than Kitara but both have 21 points.

Anything short of victory for Proline would hugely dent their hopes of staying afloat.

Blacks Power Coach Vialli Bainomugisha says they are looking up to is nothing rather than securing maximum points.

‘We are many points ahead of Proline but we can’t sit back to relax. They are a good team with talented players who have the ability to get good results but they are affected by issues off the pitch. We are preparing like we would prepare for any strong team with the only aim of securing maximum points,” he said.

Ndejje University FC vs Kataka FC

Another fixture that pits two teams with different ambitions. Ndejje University FC on 23 points need to win to at least guarantee their stay but face a Kataka side that must win to stay in the promotion mix.

With 32 points, the Mbale based side who will have their final two games against fellow contenders Blacks Power and Kyetume need to win before facing the two.

Nyamityobora FC vs Kyetume FC

Nyamityobora FC is already relegated but welcome promotion hopefuls Kyetume under the stewardship of coach David Mutono who is aware this game means a lot in their bid to return to top flight football.

”All teams come to compete therefore we won’t underlook Nyamityobora. The team might have little or nothing to lose but the players have a point to prove that the team’s poor performance is not about them.” He indicated.

Calvary FC vs Luweero United FC

Luweero United FC on 22 points are just two above the relegation zone and thus need to secure a positive result against Calvary FC who are also not yet safe and are just a point and position above their opponents on Sunday.

MYDA FC vs Kitara FC

Kitara FC travel to Tororo with one thing on agenda and that is winning, if fending off relegation remains a reality.

MYDA FC are already relegated but could easily go down with Kitara FC who are 9th with 21 points and within in the red zone.
