The finale of Season 4 of the Budo League will happen on Sunday, 16th May 2021 at Legends Grounds in Kampala with about 11 games on card.

However, the major action of the 10-a-side Guinness powered league will see Thazoballo take on Peaky Blinders in the first main cup semi-final while Centurions will be facing Accumulators in the other main cup semi-final. Winners will faceoff in the main cup final at 4 p.m.

In the George Ssemivule Cup (2nd tier) semifinals, Takoradi will take on Quadballo in the first game while Abachuba will be up against Massape in the other game.

After regular season, the top four outfits in the 13-team league feature in the main cup semis while fifth to eighth placed sides feature in 2nd tier semis.

Peaky Blinders are first with 27 points. Centurions and Accumulators are tied with 26 points while Thazoballo are fourth with 24 points.

According to league publicist – Timothy Bukenya, the outing is a cocktail of football and socializing/networking for the alumni of King’s College Budo.

“The league is not just about football, but networking too and so we take off a lot of time to socialise as Budonians. The teams are formed by the class years,” Bukenya said.

The league also attracts alumni from other schools. Ntare School and SMACK (St. Mary’s College Kisubi) select sides will also feature in the finale.

Ladies and kids games are also in the mix.

The Budo League resumed to conclude the season and has been happening on alternating Sundays.
