Striker Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte has joined BUL FC from Arua Hill on a two – year contract.
The 29-year-old forward started his playing career with Masaka FC before he played for SC Victoria University and KCCA FC.
Ssekamatte also enjoyed a successful stint across the boarders with the Red Arrows of Zambia.
BUL FC team manager Alex Isabirye said that Ssekamatte is a good striker who can score goals, create chances and he is the right player for the side.
“He will absolutely add something to the team and I believe he will do the job but I will not put pressure on him,” Isabirye told the club website.
He scored five goals and contributed seven assists during his one and a half year spell at Arua Hill.
Ssekamatte says that he believes in the project and already has a good relationship with the BUL FC coaches.
“I want to contribute as much as possible to the expectations of the coaches and the club.”
“BUL competed in the confederations cup this season and I want to work hard to get this club back to the continent,” Ssekamatte added.
Ssekamatte strengthens BUL’s squad as they prepare for the second round of the season and they are looking forward to working with him.
