BUL JT humble KCCA SA to win FUFA Junior league title

KCCA FC SA 0-3 BUL FC JT

BUL FC Junior Team were on Saturday crowned 2018/19 FUFA Junior League (U19) champions after their stunning 3-0 win over KCCA FC Soccer Academy 3-0 in the final played at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Reagan Kalyowa opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before completing his brace in the 48th minute. Deo Sentongo scored the third in the 62nd minute to hand BUL FC JT their first ever FUFA Junior League title.

KCCA FC SA has now lost the final for the third time after earlier falling to Vipers SC JT in 2015/16 season on penalties and against Soana FC JT (Tooro United JT) in 2016/17 in the same fashion. BUL FC JT was dominant all through and created the best chances albeit carrying no favorite tag coming into the clash.

All-time FUFA Juniors top scorer and KCCA FC SA striker Sadat Anaku; with 84 goals failed to make things happen for his side in the entire game.

Oketch Simon of BUL JT, who scored 13 goals in the regular season, was named the Most Valuable Player for 2018/2019 season.

Oketch joins Sekyanzi Faizo who won the accolade in 2015, Allan Okello in 2015/2016, Ivan Asaba in 2016/ 2017, and Moses Bakabulindi in the 2017/2018 season. BUL FC JT goalkeeper Bewayo Isaac was named the best goalkeeper after conceding only 13 goals.

KCCA FC SA finished top of Treble Group with 67 points and 2 loses while BUL FC JT ended at the top of Hat-Trick Group with 56 points and only one loss.

Golden Glove: Isaac Bewayo
