The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has received approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to feature a special commemorative badge on the Uganda Cranes’ matchday jerseys.
This badge marks FUFA’s 100 years of existence and will be used throughout the AFCON 2025 qualification campaign.
The logo was officially unveiled by FUFA President, Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim, during the federation’s 100th Ordinary General Assembly held on October 4, 2024, at Maya Nature Resort in Wakiso.
Positioned on the front of the jerseys above the players’ numbers, the badge will sit between the FUFA emblem and the logo of kit manufacturer Janzi.
According to FUFA Communications Director, Ahmed Hussein, the Uganda Cranes will debut these special edition jerseys in their upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifier against South Sudan on Friday, October 11, 2024.
The commemorative kits will be worn for the entire qualification campaign, adding a historical touch to the team’s performance as the federation continues to celebrate a century of Ugandan football development.
