A recent FIFA Global Transfer Report has highlighted Uganda’s contribution to international football transfers in 2024, with the country recording 144 player transactions across various levels of the game.
The report indicates that Uganda was part of a record-breaking 78,742 international transfers, which included both professional and amateur football across FIFA’s 211 Member Associations.

Incoming transfers: 51
Outgoing transfers: 46
Growth Rates: 0.109% (incoming), -0.08% (outgoing)
Women’s professional football:
Incoming transfers: 8
Outgoing transfers: 15
Growth Rates: 0.6% (incoming), 0.667% (outgoing)
Amateur football:
Incoming transfers: 4
Outgoing transfers: 20
Growth Rates: -0.2% (incoming), -0.13% (outgoing)
