FLAVIA NANDAULA: I JOINED VOLLEYBALL COACHING TO PLAY ANOTHER ROLE IN THE GAME

Like Arie Selinger said, “From the beginning, my philosophy has been to stake my course, show results and force others copy me, KCB-Nkumba Volleyball player in Flavia Nandaula has made the same path as she joined coaching.

A week back Flavia Nandaula was one of the 21 coaches who completed FIVB Level I coaching course organized by Federation international Volleyball and Uganda Volleyball Federation.

After completing the course, Nandaula who is currently the longest KCB-Nkumba Player revealed why she joined coaching.

“I joined coaching because i love the game, in case i can’t play at least i can play part in the game of Volleyball Stated Flavia Nandaula.

Attaining FIVB Level I coaching course means Nandaula qualifies to handle a club in the National Volleyball League and she can as well coach a National team.

Flavia Nandaula who is currently the best Libero in the country as far as Women Volleyball has been awarded the best Libero in all the tournaments she has participated locally.

She was appointed the best libero in the 2018 and 2019 Rwanda Genocide Volleyball championship.

Kairungi Salma Otika commends Nandaula as a selfless, Hardworking ,resilient team player , who is very passionate about her club and volleyball.

“She (Flavia Nandaula) is a hardworking person who thinks and puts her teammates first before anyone else” states Otika.

Early Life.

Flavia Nandaula was born on 3rd June 1991 in Rakai to Amos Muganga and Prossy Nantale.

As a child, Nandaula started her Education journey at Ronald Ruta Primary School and sat for Primary Leaving Examination in 2004.

She joined Christ the King Kalisizo from 2005 and completed her Senior four in 2008 before joining Masaka Secondary School for advanced level.

Nandaula parents never played the game (Volleyball) but only her Cousin sister Gertrude also play the game.
