FUFA announces date for Uganda Cup last four draws
The Federation of Uganda Football Association has announced the date for the 2021 Uganda Cup semi final draws.
On Friday, August 6, FUFA announced that the draw will take place on Monday, August 9 at FUFA House in Mengo at 10am.
The competition has been on halt for close to two months after football and other sports activities were discontinued due to the COVID-19 situation in the country.
However, following the green-light given to outdoor sports in Uganda, by the President HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni-last week, it looks like the Cup will be concluded.
Express FC, Vipers SC, BUL FC and Police FC are the four teams left in the competition.
It should be remembered that this year’s Uganda Cup was shortened due to the pandemic.
It started at the round of 32 with only FUFA Big League and Uganda Premier League clubs taking part.
