Malaba Youth Development Football Club (MYDA FC) maintained their position top spot table in the StarTimes FUFA Big League despite a one all draw with Saviors Football Club on Sunday 1st, March 2020 at Elgon View Primary School play grounds.

MYDA Football club came into the game leading with two points ahead of Kiboga Young but with a game in hand.

Tonny Muklika put Musafir coached side a head in the 26th minute with a cool finish to send home fans into jubilation.

An enticing first half ended in 1-0 leader for the hosts .

Jasper Okello Obedi leveled when he converted a rebounding ball from MYDA football Club goalkeeper, Moses Halidi to keep hosts on waiting to extend their winning strike to Seven games and earn 6th draw for the visitors.

The point was enough to keep MYDA (20) on top of the table of Elgon group with three points ahead of Kiboga Young football club (17). Saviors after the draw are in the 6th position with Twelve points from 11 games.

Elsewhere, Katwe United failed to a 2-0 loss away to Light SS Football Club while Kataka Football Club defeated Dove All Stars Football Club in Elgon group.

In Rwenzori group, Kitara Football club defeated Nyamityobora Football Club by 2-0 scoreline. Brian Mululi continued with a fine form netting a brace.

 

Ndejje University Football Club earned a hard fought 2-3 win over Kansai Plascon away from home.

 

Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club lost another game in second round and this time infront of their fans.
