FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo

“In 2013, we were forced to withdraw the national team from further participation in the world cup qualifiers after beating South Sudan 22-0 because we realized it would be a waste of money to spend on the national team that had no proper foundation. This is from where we planned on starting the National league and also the regional leagues which is now enabling many female players with chance to play,” Magogo noted before cautioning players against any forms of indiscipline that may hinder their careers. “For anyone to excel, they must have talent, love what they are doing, work hard and also be disciplined. There are many people out there who are ready to confuse you; so please be warned and only keep focused to hard work. Always give your best and the results will follow you,” he advised. The President also congratulated the newly crowned Airtel-FUFA  female player of the year and team captain Juliet Nalukenge for the achievement as well as CECAFA best goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga and Most valuable player (MVP) Fauzia Najjemba. The Federation extended $200 to each of the winning players in appreciation for the job well done.
