After six exhilarating months on the greens, Season Seven of the Singleton Match Play Challenge is gearing up for a thrilling conclusion this Saturday at the picturesque par-71 Entebbe Golf Club.
Headlining proceedings is a nail-biting head-to-head showdown between the semifinal victors: Joseph Bogera paired with Kenneth Kiddu and the formidable duo of Richard Mucunguzi & Saidi Kirarira who are debutants in the competition.
In the semifinals played last month,
Joseph Bogera and Kenneth Kiddu beat Entebbe Club Captain Seruwano Walusimbi and his playing partner Peter Magona 4/3. In the other match, Saidi Kirarira & Richard Mucunguzi beat Brian Manyindo and Michael Odur 3/2.
As the anticipation builds, the burning question looms: Who will emerge as the 2023 Singleton Match Play Challenge Champion? Both pairs have showcased exceptional golfing prowess since July, making Saturday’s championship clash a truly unpredictable and riveting spectacle.
After the intense on-course action, the spotlight will shift to the highly anticipated grand finale 19th Hole ceremony. Themed tbe black-tie, the Singleton series organisers promise an unforgettable evening.
Christine Kyokunda, the Singleton Brand Manager, shared her thoughts on how the brand has been prepping for the event this Saturday
