St Lawrence University (SLAU) came from behind to draw 1-1 with Gulu University in the Pepsi University football league tie played at in Gulu on Friday. Geoffrey Opwonya gave hosts lead in the opening quarter before Ibrahim Kasule leveled for SLAU five minutes after the break. The result leaves SLAU in second position with 6 points in four games, a point below leaders Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) that have a game in hand. Winless Gulu are at the foot with 2 points from four games while ISLAMIC University in Uganda (IUIU) are 3rd (before Saturday result). IUIU hosted UMU in Mbale on Saturday.
