National Women basketball league reigning champions JKL Lady Dolphins could go the regular season unbeaten in their bid to retain the title.
Lady Dolphins defeated UMU Ravens 26-107 on Saturday at the MTN Arena, Lugogo which was their fourth century (1000+) win of the season in the Tusker Lite National women basketball league.
JKL Lady Dolphins also secured century victory against UMU Ravens, YMCA Lady Hamsters and MUK Sparks respectively before Jamila Nansikombi led the mauling of hapless Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) Ravens side over the weekend with her 22 points whilst Muhayimina Namuwaya had 11 rebounds and Hope Akello registered 5 assists. To complete a lovely evening for their fans, JKL Men also beat Our Savior 76-60 with Emmanuel Ateng claiming maiden Player of the match honors for his 18 points. Our Savior now risks relegation just as winless Makerere University-Kampala (MUK) Sparks that lost 58-50 loss to KIU Rangers.
