Adrian Kasito believes that Uganda can go all along and put up a good performance World Rugby Sevens Repechage event.

Uganda Rugby Cranes Sevens team is already in Monaco ahead of the World Rugby Sevens Repechage event slated for 19th- 20th June 2021 at the Stade Louis II.

The Monaco Repechage tournament also dubbed Olympic Repechage is a one-off event to determine the final two women’s and one men’s teams to qualify for the Rugby Sevens competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Uganda 7s star Adrian Kasito who has had many stints with the side is ready to get going hoping that the team can come atop in Monaco and make it to Tokyo.

“I feel excited and also under a little bit of pressure because we’ll be representing the entire Uganda for a shot at the Olympics keeping in mind that we can only qualify by winning the event,” Kasito told Uganda Rugby Union website recently.

“As a team, this tournament means a lot because its the only way we are going to make our way to the Olympics. I will therefore take every step of the tournament very seriously,” Kasito added.
