Seruganda FC and Kampala Galaxy are set to clash in the final of the inaugural Eddy Kenzo foundation football tournament organized by BET Award winning artiste Edirisa ‘Eddy Kenzo’ Musuza through his Kenzo foundation.
A total of six teams embraced this inaugural edition and were pitted into two groups and the best two placed teams progressed to the semi finals.
Seruganda from Munyonyo defeated Super Heroes academy 1-0 to seal a place in the final whereas Kampala Galaxy edged God is Able academy by similar score line courtesy of Patrick Kiisa.
The final slated for Sunday, 7th July at the Officers Mess in Makindye. The Kenzo foundation football tournament was established with the primary aim of nurturing new talents in Ugandan football.
The teams:
Group A: God is Able Academy, Seruganda FC, Everton Academy Kawempe
Group B: Kampala Galaxy, Super Heroes academy, Spartak Academy
